Introduction to LEAN in Healthcare Workshop
Learn about the fundamental concepts and tools of LEAN specifically adapted for healthcare practices and how they can help improve the performance of your organization. Attendees will interact with experts in an informal dialogue and participate in hands-on exercises that demonstrate concepts and expectations of implementing LEAN. No prior knowledge of LEAN is necessary but the desire to improve your organization is essential to attend.
Bring a co-worker and a list of challenges that you would like to see addressed in the operations of your office. Participants will learn how to begin seeing wastes, quantifying costs, defining expectations and much more. The workshop will begin at 12 pm and lunch will be provided.
The UAH LEAN Healthcare program offers LEAN healthcare training, planning, and implementation assistance to practitioners and service providers. Join us as we discover how to tackle large and small challenges specifically related to this dynamic profession.
